Morningside Community Foundation (MCF) is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt foundation that collects donations and disburses funds for the betterment of the Morningside-Lenox Park neighborhood, its residents and visitors. Its work includes park improvements, improvements to the built environment, and improvements in the quality of life of all residents.

Our Purpose

MCF is dedicated to supporting charitable initiatives and fundraising efforts that strengthen and enrich the Morningside-Lenox Park community.  Our intent is to improve the public amenities with a focus on greenspaces and communal infrastructure.  We conduct fundraising efforts on behalf of and for the benefit of our community. 


As we expand our work, we’re also looking to connect with volunteers and community members interested in getting involved beyond board service.
